I find it is easier to find colours if you stick with a green-brown-grey palette with Cecil and a red-brown-grey palette for Bob and gino (he looks good in Green, also).

I don't know why, but I always veer away from those colour schemes, I think it might be my subconscious trying to give the characters more substance.
But I like the palettes you have chosen, I shall give them a try!
