To avoid thing getting too generic, I picked Neil instead of Bart, though I used some reference with Bart... confusion ahead!
Well,
recently inspired me to try my own perspective works, and a shot from the Simpsons Movie told me exactly what to do.
The character was drawn by hand, scanned in and coloured while the background is completely done by mouse/computer.
Hope it looks okay... ah and I added some blurriness for the motion again.
Actually, in my Simpsonverse, Neil and Bart become good friends that are sharing a lot of interests like video gaming or skateboarding. They do tend to differ from each other a lot, seeing that Neil likes reading. He once offered Bart reading 'Mody Dick' and hasn't gotten the book back yet.

Well, they share a lot of common interests, and I figured if Milhouse and Bart can be friends, why not Neil and Bart?
Well, now that you mention it... yeah, I tried to make Neil's lines a tad bigger, resulting in it looking weird. I might go bacl and rodo the lines of the background though.
