Sometimes Bob would sit together with Gino, switch on the TV set and they’d both watch whatever was on. Gino would then fall asleep pretty soon, and when Bob was sure he wouldn’t wake him, he got up and fetched a glass and a bottle of wine. After he’d had half a bottle, Bob would fall asleep also.
But her would not sleep quietly, for his dreams usually were very broken. When he shifted around on the sofa, Gino would wake, gazing up at his father questioningly. Bob usually was a little tipsy from the wine and in the semi-darkness of the room, his cheeks glowed a slight red.
Gino didn’t know what his father was dreaming about, nor did he mention to his family the next morning what he had heard his father mutter. But that didn’t mean he didn’t worry…

I got inspired to do this by

. At first, it was just going to be bob sleeping with one of his kids or nephews or nieces or something, but as I went along, this happened: I remembered that in The Italian Bob Francesca mentioned that Bob sometimes spoke in his sleep, calling Bart Simpson’s name.

Random, I know… I hope you like it anyway.

Whoa, great!

I really feel bad for both of them, Bob, for not getting a very good sleep, and Gino, for seeing his father like that.

Well, My mother usually doesn't get too much sleep... and so I know how this can be. And she tends to fall asleep while watching TV.

This is just great!

Gino's expression is so spot on with the situation, he's just so adorable.

Bob's just so cute in this pic, and I am sure we have all had an experience similar to this.
