Well, the whole bob as Cout Dracula – Idea inspired me further…
This is kind of chlicee, but I like that dark mood I managed to create. And Marge turned out good for once, too. I always have trouble with that normally. The only thing I do not really like is the background, for it was kind of rushed and I was out of ideas anyway.

Complete Cast:

Count Dracula: Bob Terwilliger
Jonathan Harker: Homer Simpson
Mina Murray: Marge Simpsons
Lucy Westenra: Maude Flanders
Quincy P. Morris: Cecil Terwilliger
John Seward (director of madhouse): Rev Lovejoy
Lord Arthur Holmwood: Ned Flanders
Dracula’s Brides: Helen Lovejoy, Francesca Terwilliger, Edna Krabappel
Van Helsing: Dr Julius Hibbert
Mr Hawking (Jonathan’s boss): Mr C.M. Burns
Renfield: Waylon Smithers

The Simpsons: Matt Groening
Dracula: Bram Stoker

Do you think you'd do a drawing of Smithers in this series in the style of Dwight Frye? I always felt so bad for his version of Renfield, the poor guy just wanted to do his job.

This was from the original Universal version with Bela Lugosi.

Renfield was played by Dwight Frye. I felt so bad for him since he was such a cute little guy in a suit with a job to do (sound familiar?).

I see, I have to admit I never saw this version (shame on me, really!) but that's casue it is hell to get your hands on a copy of it here XDD

Kind of, yeah, really fits in with who I had made Renfield back when I drew this up (when? Sometime.... last year? The year before? I really need to check.... but I am lazy.).

Homer would make a rather romantic Jonathan, better than Keanu did.

Yeah. I've always been a Homer Simpson fan-he's got a lot of heart and he'd be the kind of guy to fight tooth and nail to get his Mina out of harm's way, despite being a dimwit.

I loved "Bram Stoker's Dracula" as a girl (our high school answer to "Twilight", so to speak), but Keanu seemed somewhat out of place for me.

Me too- I however find that in the never episodes he is started to get retarded- not in a good way. They are eoverdoing it. However, I agree that he would have made a better Jonathan than Keanu.

Well for me it is mixed feelings- The book is good, if a bit old in writing, but I love it when a director takes the time to stay close to it.
